Our theme for the 2017 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal, “You Shall Love Your Neighbor As Yourself,” calls us to action, reminding us to actively be God’s love to others.
I see that beauty abounding in the Archdiocese of Atlanta in concrete and visible ways, as the love of the Lord is being shared with our brothers and sisters, young and old, near and far. We are taking strides to know our faith, live our faith, share our faith, and evolve our communities – just as the Archdiocese’ Pastoral Plan has called our parishes to do.
I invite you to learn more about the work of our Office of Vocations, and how they walk with those called to the priesthood or religious life. Read about the work being done to bridge cultural divides, efforts to strengthen our families, and programs to help our neighbors in need. These tangible examples show the important work being done in central and north Georgia – only made possible by your generous donations to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal. – Archbishop Wilton D.
